OUR PATIENTS ARE ALWAYS PRIORITY.
PRIDE IN OUR WORK
OUR TEAM UNDERSTANDS HOW
DIFFICULT YOUR SITUATION IS.
Guiding Light Hospice prides itself on bringing you peace of mind when it comes to providing comfort for your loved one when nearing end of life. Our team understands how difficult it is to see a loved one in discomfort, so we pride ourselves in making sure pain and symptoms are managed and kept at optimal levels.
Each member of our team is highly vetted, making sure they possess an understanding of what each family member—including the patient themselves—is experiencing. Furthermore, our physicians are each Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care. Together with the team, they develop a custom treatment plan that will be appropriate for the patient and welcomed by the family. And while we do not administer curative care, our staff will always take an aggressive approach to make sure each of our patients—and family members—are comfortable.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Going the extra mile with our patients is priority.
Our company is non-denominational, and owned and managed by a professional team from South Texas that understands how faith and culture affect end-of-life situations. With this keen sense of understanding, we are very sensitive to the needs of each family, and recognize that the care we provide will differ with each family. Therefore, Guiding Light Hospice will NEVER provide a “template” of care for our patients—and ALWAYS provide care that is consistent with a family’s spiritual beliefs, practices and expectations.
